We start our day at Saklıkent Gorge where you will have the opportunity to
cross the cool waters and explore the depths of the Gorge. After a delicious
traditional lunch, we will visit the magnificent site at Patara, where you can
explore the ruins of the city where democracy was born. Afterwards time for a

Gömbe-Bezirgan |

Drive through the mountains and traditional villages to the mountain town of
Gömbe, below the Akdağ mountain. This is a real taste of real Turkish life. The
cool mountain air will enhance your appetite so we will stop for a
traditional lunch. Later we stop in the traditional village of Bezirgan for a
çay, before heading back to Kalkan. |

A short drive away we visit the ancient ruins of the Lycian capital Xanthos
highlights being the mosiacs in the Christian Bascilica, theatre & tombs; after
a tour of the site we head up in the mountains to the village of Islamlar for
dinner to a traditional restaurant where we enjoy a selection of home made
